Tonya graduated from the University of Arizona in 1991 and the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2005, with the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award and Pro Bono Service Award. During her studies, she twice won the regional American Bar Association’s Representation in Mediation Competition, and took second in the national competition. Tonya was also the first place winner in the Client Counseling Competition and was a two-year member of the ASU Trial Advocacy Team. Tonya was a student attorney in the Civil Justice Clinic and had the privilege of successfully representing her client at the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Prior to law school, Tonya had a career as an advocate for Arizona’s Seriously Mentally Ill population. She also contracted with the Arizona Department of Health Services to conduct physical abuse, sexual abuse, and mortality investigations.
Tonya is authorized to practice law in Arizona and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Since graduation she has focused her practice on litigation. Her practice areas include Construction Defect Defense, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Family Law and Commercial Litigation. Tonya is active in the Thurgood Marshall Inn of Court.
Tonya divides her practice between our Arizona and Nevada offices.

Founder, Burch & Cracchiolo Dress for Success Clothing Drive. Leads the Firm’s seasonal business-clothing drive at the firm in support of the Phoenix Affiliate of Dress for Success, an international organization that provides business-interview appropriate clothing for women during their job search.
Advisory Board, C.H.E.E.E.R.S, 2010 - present. C.H.E.E.E.R.S. is a member-run mental health support center that provides GED classes, job-skill training, socialization, meals, mental health support groups and counseling services to the Seriously Mentally Ill community, emphasizing empowerment and recovery through peer-support.
Leader, Church Council. Serves as elected leader of the church’s charitable outreach and community support efforts partnering with local direct-service organizations.
